Partnership levels: Core and Associate Partners

EIT Manufacturing offers two levels of partnership, each with its own set of exclusive benefits:

1. Core Partners: Receive premier partnership benefits such as support for innovation commercialisation, participation in startup-corporate challenges, yearly business analysis, access to exclusive events and discounts on education programmes.
2. Associate Partners: Gain access to funded projects, support for innovation commercialisation, and enjoy discounts on various innovation and education programmes.

How to become a Core Partner

If you are interested in becoming a Core Partner of EIT Manufacturing, contact your nearest regional office. Our dedicated regional representative will guide you through the application process.

Core Partner criteria:

• Must be an entity with legal personality, including industrial/service companies, higher education institutions, VET providers, research organizations, public institutions, financial institutions, regional/local authorities, foundations, and non-profits.
• Must be directly or indirectly active in the manufacturing sector, supporting the goals of EIT Manufacturing.
• Must be a recognised institution of innovation and excellence in the region, impacting manufacturing fields.
• Must demonstrate alignment with EIT Manufacturing’s overall objectives.
• Must be willing to contribute to EIT Manufacturing’s strategy and development.
• Must pay an annual fee decided by the Partner Assembly.

How to become an Associate Partner

There are two pathways to becoming an Associate Partner:

1. Pathway A: Your organization automatically becomes an Associate Partner if it is part of a consortium selected through the main Call for Proposals but is not a Core Member.
2. Pathway B: If your organization is not part of a selected project in the main Call for Proposals, please reach out to your nearest regional office for further assistance.

Associate Partner criteria:

• Must be an entity with legal personality capable of contributing to the Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) activities and eligible under Horizon Europe regulations and the EIT legal framework.
• Must pay an annual fee determined by the Partner Assembly.
